Remembering best friend Michael Quinn, Newcastle West.
Bobbi Potts is a 16 year old from Lemington. She is a force to be reckoned with, focused and determined to keep Michaels memory alive and hopefully save some lives along the way.
Tragically Bobbi lost her best friend Michael Quinn, 14. Michael suffered an asthma attack which led to a cardiac arrest. Michael's death devastated the whole community and beyond. He was loved by all.
North East Hearts with Goals made contact with Bobbi and decided to place a defibrillator in Michaels name at his younger brothers and sisters school in West Denton and Bobbi's mission was born.

If you or your family have children attending school or attending sports clubs in Newcastle's West End please support Bobbi. Her sights are set high and we have no doubt she will achieve her goal.
Bobbi is the perfect example of how you can help your own community become heart safe.
John Clayton was only 43 when he collapsed shortly after playing in a charity football match in April 2010. Many members of John’s family including his brother Peter and Peter’s wife Lisa, have recently joined North East Hearts with Goals to install lifesaving defibrillators around the Tees area and provide a lasting legacy for John.
The groups fundraising efforts have already been rewarded with the save of a 30 year old gentleman by Dave Todd from the Teeside Voluntary Emergency Services which received a donated defibrillator just a couple of weeks before.
“By throwing ourselves into fundraising we are providing a lasting legacy for John and helping the many others who might one day benefit from an AED in the event of an emergency.”
